Pool specialty: Monofin
Learn how to use monofin in water. You will learn the movement mechanics of the dolphin kick and how to apply that to your stroke in order to get the most distance out of your monofin. The course will cover on equipments, pool training, stretching and also technique to swim with monofin.
How long does the course take and how much does it cost?
Duration: 1 day , or, 2 pool sessions
Price: RM900.00 with Monofin Manual
*minimum 2 persons to start course, RM200 will be charged for one to one class.
This Monofin Pool specialty course included:
- One (1) theory session
- Two (2) pool session
- Stretching and dry exercises for monofin
- Training drills
- Monofin Technique for pool
- Pre-requisite: completed at least SSI Freediving Pool or equivalent.
Open Water Upgrade:
Complete two open water session to practice all skills required for the monofin open water.
Additional fee RM750 (exclude monofin rental) for two training session and Monofin certification.
There are no performance requirements for specialty course. You just need to practice and complete all the monofin skills.
Pool specialty : No - Fin
Learn the purest form of freediving but it takes many skills to make it more fun. During this course you will be developing a proper DNF technique in which will give you the freedom to freedive with minimal equipment. The course will cover on equipments, pool training, stretching and also technique to swim with no-fin.
How long does the course take and how much does it cost?
Duration: 3 x 2hrs each session
Price: RM750.00
* minimum 2 persons to start course, RM200 will be charged for one to one class.
This No Fins Pool specialty course included:
- One (1) theory session
- Two (2) pool session, we give one extra pool session to let you practice more
- Stretching and dry exercises for no fin
- Training drills
- No fins Technique for pool
Pre-requisite: completed at least SSI Freediving Pool or equivalent from other agency.
Open Water upgrade:
To complete and learn No Fins and open water, you need to have Level 2 Freediving certification and attend two open water training session to practices No-fins Open water skills
Fee for two open water sessions for No fins RM700 for two session including coaching. Please bring your own waste landyard.
Training Techniques
If you wonder how to increase your breath-hold static time or your dynamic performance, this is a good course to attend. You will be introduced about how to design your own training table according to your level.
How long does the course take and how much does it cost?
It is possible to do both pool sessions in one day, but due to the demanding pool training, it is recommended to split the course in to 2 half days
Duration: Two (2) half day course or 2 pool session
Price: RM555
This specialty course included:
- One (1) theory session
- One (1) Dry table
- Two (2) pool session to practise your table
- SSI Training Techniques certification
Pre-requisite: completed at least SSI Freediving Pool or equivalent.
FREE IMMERSION
Free Immersion is one of discipline in freediving. if you want to learn and master your free immersion technique, you can attend this specialty course, or attend our Level 2 course to learn about free immersion.
How long does the course take and how much does it cost?
Duration: 1 hour;
Price: RM450
This specialty course included:
- One (1) theory session
- Two (1) open water session,
buoy, landyard will be provided. - SSI Free Immersion certification
Pre-requisite: completed at least SSI Freediving Level 1 or equivalent.
